His fur family consists of 2 Yorkshire terriers, an Airedale terrier named Fergie, and a Siamese cat named Thomas. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, working on his modified mini race car, cooking. If you ever have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to call and ask for Kevin!

Hospital Nurses

Katie always had a passion for pets and joined the Heritage Oaks family in 2019. She quickly became an integral member of our team who has excelled as a veterinary technician. Katie has a strong drive to learn new things and is exceptionally passionate about surgical assisting and anesthesia.
Katie is a local; born and raised in Citrus County, where she participated in 4H in middle school and FFA through high school. Katie and her fiancé Brandon share their home with their two rescue dogs Molly and Trixie. When not at work, Katie enjoys four wheeling, mud bogging, and going to the beach.

Amber joined Heritage Oaks Veterinary Hospital in March of 2021 and is a licensed veterinary technician. She has a special interest in oncology and dentistry, but is always looking to learn something new!
She is originally from Connecticut and her family includes her fiancé Paul, four English Springer Spaniels (Buckshot, Kimber, Gauge, and Reload), and a tabby named Arnie. She spends her days off enjoying Florida’s outdoors and checking out local restaurants.

Kelsey has long since left Heritage Oaks to work with family in Colorado, but as a snowbird, you'll often see her popping in and out of the hospital. She will still lend a helping hand when asked nicely, as her heart is always with pets and patient care. Kelsey is known for her sense of humor and empathetic nature with our clients. When she's down in the cooler months, you can find her most weekends out on the salt water fishing. Kelsey's fur babies include a blue-tick hound named Slim and a tuxedo cat named Willy.

Client Services

Kelly Winters is our client services coordinator and assistant manager. Her goal with every patient/client is to provide quality care and emotional support. She has over 15 years of experience in the animal care industry and always has a smile on her face.

The loves in her life are her son Tyson and her fur babies Kano, Sheldon, and Mouse. While originally from south Florida, Kelly has been in the Citrus County area for a little over 5 years now and is very active in her son's sporting life.
